Missions Day: Dec. 6
The November emphasis on Riverbend’s Above & Beyond missions ministry will be highlighted at the church’s annual “Missions Day” on Sunday, Dec. 6, during Morning Worship. There will be the opportunity for everyone to be involved in missions on a financial basis. Everyone present should plan to walk past the Chest of Joash (2 Kings 12) at the front of the Worship Center and place an offering into the chest. This offering will fund the bulk of the church’s missions ventures during 2010.
Focus during the month has been on those areas where Riverbend currently is assisting: Romania, Central Asia and South Africa, plus the new work that is beginning in Honduras.
