Formerly the Senior Pastor of TurningPoint Community Church in Palm Coast, Florida, originally known as Riverbend North. Kent has received his education from Winter Haven High School, Polk Community Junior College, University of Florida, and began his pursuit of a Master’s of Divinity degree at Reformed Theological Seminary in Oviedo, Florida. He has also studied at Master’s School of Divinity.

He is a native Floridian who grew up in Winter Haven.

Kent was licensed into the ministry July 23, 2000, and then ordained into the ministry February 4, 2004—both by Riverbend Community Church.

He is married to the former Hilari Hodge, a native of Arkansas, and they have three daughters: Malori, Noelle and Tori.

Pastor Kent's greatest desire for his life: "To glorify Christ by exalting Him and manifesting His worth in all that I do and that by doing so my love for Him will flow to my wife, children, and ministry!"
