Nursery
Lil' Sprouts
Our nursery is available for children through 24 months. Two year olds will only "graduate" to the next class if their birthday falls before September 1 of that year. Check with the coordinators at the check-in desk if you have any questions as to where your child belongs.
Teaching Biblical Truths Through Repetition
"And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise." (Deuteronomy 6:6-7)
Children are always learing. There is never a time when they are not learning. Because of this we feel it is important to use repetition when teaching our children. That is why we focus on a different biblical truth every month and the children are learning about that same truth every week during the month. We are reinforcing these truths not just through a Bible story but through hands-on activities such as coloring, singing, and an occasional nature walk. Our goal in the nursery is not to babysit but to engage your children in truth and using a curriculum helps us to stay focused and gives us purpose in teaching.

Preparation
In order to make your child's stay with us enjoyable, we have a few policies we ask all children to abide by:
- Make sure your child has eaten and had something to drink before coming into Kingdom Corner. We will not be able to feed them breakfast/lunch/dinner. We will provide an age-appropriate snack.
- Please be sure your child has gone to the restroom. If your child is of a younger age, make sure you have changed his/her diaper. Changing stations are located in the Ladies' restrooms.
- Nursery facilities are available during service hours. We will receive children 15 minutes prior to the start of the service providing adequate help is available.
Security
- All children must be properly checked in before entering the room. Register your child at the Nursery Desk, filling out information thoroughly.
- You will be given a pager from the coordinator at the front desk when you check in your baby.
- The pagers must be returned to the Kingdom Keeper Volunteer in the class room in order to pick up your child.
- No one is permitted to go into the children's rooms except for scheduled Kingdom Keeper volunteers. We ask that only one parent and the child enter the nursery to be checked in and taken to his/her appropriate room. This will avoid crowding in the nursery.
- Due to the disruptive nature of "visitors" in the nursery, we ask that you not check on your child between worship and Bible Fellowship Group or at any other time. We will page you if your child needs you.
Belongings for Nursery Children
Please label all of your child's belongings. We want to properly care for your child. In order to do that, we have found that they should bring the following items with them:
- blanket, pacifier or other security item
- 2 disposable diapers and wipes
- powder or ointment (if you use these)
- change of clothes
- bottle, if necessary or juice cup
- no baby foods will be served during service times
- bottles will be given according to parents instructions
- if your child has special food allergies, please notify coordinator for an allergy alert sticker
