Crossroads is the college ministry at Riverbend church for 18 - 25 year olds. Pastor Jeff Eckert shepherds this ministry.

Our Vision: Crossroads desires to reach this community with the saving message of the Lord Jesus Christ. We attempt to accomplish this goal through Biblical teaching and effective shepherding. Our ministry strives to do the following with excellence:

Special Events
Ministry Involvement
We have many Crossroaders involved in various ministries throughout our church as we view ministry as a vital part of church membership. Our leadership team in Crossroads continually encourages our students to be members and not merely attenders.
Taste of Home
After high school a number of the Riverbend students leave the Daytona Beach area for college. Every semester the Crossroads ministry puts together a box of sermons, booklets, food, snacks, and encouraging notes to give each student away at college a "taste of home."
Annual Retreat
Every year the Crossroads ministry gathers for a weekend or week long retreat centered around Bible Study and fellowship. This year we studied the will of God and decision-making. Last year the Crossroads ministry joined Single Purpose for a week-long ski retreat in North Carolina on the topic of marriage. The year before the Crossroads group attended the Passion Conference in Atlanta, GA. Prior to that, the Crossroads ministry attended summer retreats at different locations in Fl.
Senior Visitation
This year the Crossroads group gathered on a weeknight to visit the senior adults of Riverbend. These visits were beneficial to both the Crossroads students and the seniors. This ministry allowed for the students to learn from the life and faith of the seniors (something commended in Titus 2:1 - 6) and the seniors to be encouraged by the faith in these young believers (something commended in 1 Timothy 4:12).
