About

Hoor is a village in a remote area in the far west edge of the country, adjacent to the Sahara Desert, about 165 Miles south of Cairo. The church was built 131 years ago in 1889 when Samir Boulos' grandfather, Pastor Boulos Mikhail, was preaching in this small remote village called Hoor until the Lord called him in 1926. His son, Rev. Daniel Boulos (Samir's dad), became a pastor until the Lord called him in 1950. Then his grandson, Rev. Paul Daniel Boulos (Samir's borhter), pastored the church for four years until the Lord called him to serve in Sidney, Australia, for an Arabic-speaking congregation until he went to the Lord.
