Elect Exiles Love One Another

As followers of Christ, we were once blind to the truth, enslaved to sin, and spiritually dead. But through the revelation of Jesus Christ, the gospel has opened our eyes, purified our hearts, and given us new life. In this message from 1 Peter 1:20–25, we see Peter's call for believers to pursue more than mere friendliness or brotherly affection—we are commanded to love one another earnestly with a sincere, Christlike love.

Because we have been born again through the living and abiding Word of God, we are now able to walk in holiness by loving God and loving one another. True biblical love is sacrificial, truthful, and rooted in the gospel.
